I'm interested in metafiction, interdisciplinary collaboration and the history of ideas. I write texts and devise events and performances that are intended to impart information, ignite curiosity and transcend genres.

Besides art criticism, this includes constructing performative lectures around a theme, perhaps to tie in with gallery shows or art school teaching modules, co-editing the journal Implicasphere, which takes a single word, such as string and nose, and demonstrates the world of associative ideas it generates, and organising events that combine art and entertainment genres.

What are you most well known for?
Probably writing reviews in the art press, although this is just the tip of the iceberg.

What are you most looking forward to about Hen Weekend?
I imagine it will be a pleasant change to spend more than a few hours with the same people instead of perpetually rushing off.
