Lives in Chicago
Attended event in Bexhill on Sea

As director of Gallery 400 at the University of Illinois at Chicago, I administer the organisation, overseeing a part time staff of eight. Over the six years I've been at the gallery I have concentrated on improving our exhibition programs, by developing new commissions for Chicago artists and expanding funds for all of our exhibitions.

I curate some exhibitions at the gallery, the largest of which was recently published as the book 'Arceneaux, Edgar The Alchemy of Comedy... Stupid.' Recently I've concentrated on solidifying the organisation. A new non-organisational interest of mine is non-traditional pedagogy, in school and after.

What are you most well known for?
Initiating a new commissioning program for Chicago artists entitled At the Edge: Innovative Art in Chicago, which over six years has commissioned 28 artist's projects.

What are you most looking forward to about Hen Weekend?
Coming to a new place and meeting new people. Learning about everyone's work in a relaxed format.
