I am a curator and gallerist based in Deptford, South East London. Over six years have been establishing BEARSPACE, a contemporary art gallery also in Deptford. I have also initiated 'The Bear Cafe' alongside the gallery. Having gained experience working at Hales Gallery (Deptford) and Matt's Gallery (Hackney) I was inspired by both the curatorial, and the business focus present in the different galleries, leading me to combine the two in my own gallery. BEARSPACE shows the cutting edge of emerging talent, by promoting recently established artists responding to contemporary stimuli and topics with wit and innovation in a range of media. |

What are you most well known for? Curating a diverse and exciting programme, and discovering and promoting emerging artistic talent. |

What are you most looking forward to about Hen Weekend? Spending time with other female contemporary artists, curators and writers - listening to the experiences of other arts professionals and formulating new ideas and collaborations. |
