Participating Artists, Writers and Curators


There are 16 places available on each Hen Weekend event. Participants are selected by invitation and through recommendation from partner organisations.

Each artist attending a Hen Weekend event is given a profile page on this website.
Please click on the names below to view individual artists' profiles.

At each Hen Weekend, four of the participating artists are commissioned to document the event in some way. These commissioned works are published in the artworks section of this website.


Hen Weekend in Bexhill on Sea

For the pilot event, the first 12 artists were selected by invitation and the final four places were offered as bursaries to artists from the ARC network.
